【摘要】:Todetermineacceptableworkinglifeofanadhesive,twoproceduresareused.Thispracticeisintendedtoapplyto:4.1.1Self-containedliquidorpasteadhesives,4.1.2Adhesivesrequiringadditionofacatalyst,hardener,filler,thinner,andsoforth,orcombinationsoftwoormoreofthesematerialsjustpriortouse,and4.1.3Powderedorflakedadhesiveswhicharedissolvedinwaterorothersolventandareusedasliquidorpasteadhesives.CONSISTENCYPROCEDURETop1.1Thispracticecoverstwoproceduresapplicabletoalladhesiveshavingarelativelyshortworkinglife.Itisintendedtodeterminewhethertheworkinglifeconformstotheminimumspecifiedworkinglifeofanadhesiverequiredbyconsistencytestsorbybondstrengthtests,orbyboth.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
