【摘要】:Thistechnicalreportprovidesanoverviewofprotectionavailabilityprovidedbyresidualcurrent-operatedprotectivedevices(RCDs)complyingwithIECstandardsforhouseholdandsimilaruses.IthighlightsthemainparametersinfluencingprotectionreliabilityandprovidesinformationonhowtoinstallandoperateRCDsinrelationshiptotheirenvironmentalconditionsafterinstallation.Thisguidegivesgeneralinformationconcerningavailabilityoftheprotectionwithinthefixedinstallationandhowtokeepahighlevelofavailabilityofprotectionduringuse(installationandmaintenance).IthasbeendraftedforthebenefitofIECtechnicalcommittees,installers,inspectorsandusers.NOTE1ThetermRCDisagenerictermappliedtoafamilyofproductswhichopenautomaticallyinresponsetoaresidualcurrentatorexceedingtheRCD’sratedresidualoperatingcurrent,IΔn.Thisgenerictermisoftenappliedtothefollowing.RCCB-ResidualCurrentCircuitBreakerwithoutovercurrentprotectionRCBO-ResidualCurrentBreakerwithOvercurrentprotectionSRCD-SocketoutletResidualCurrentDevicePRCD-PortableResidualCurrentDeviceARCCBdiffersfromaRCBOinthattheRCBOwilladditionallyrespondtoovercurrentconditionswhereastheRCCBwillnotrespondtosuchconditions.NOTE2PRCDsarenotconsideredtobepartofthefixedinstallation,andarenotcoveredbythisguide.
